Rolex SS Submariner so called James Bond" model with no crown guards ref # 5508 serial # 489,xxx circa 1959. Very pleasing original glossy black inner minute track dial with 2 color gilt printing. Correct and original dial signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner and in silver gilt, 100m=330ft. Dial signed SWISS. Some spider webbing present on the dial which does not detract from the glossy and rich original finish. Very niicely patina'd gilt hands and matching luminous indexes. Faded elasped time bezel with some chipping on inner edge. Original, not replacement bezel. Rolex movement calbire 1530 self winding with sweep seconds.
