Omega SS Ploprof (Plonger Professional) diver's model circa 1970's in massive 45 X 55mm and14mm thick. Model ref # ST166.0077. Original dark blue dial with luminous indexes. Bi-directional elapsed time bezel with locking red push button. Lock down crown with special nut. Fitted with Omega SS so called "Shark" bracelet with "slip-in" clasp. The Ploprof model was tested by COMEX and reportedly was the favorite dive watch of Jacques Cousteau. Current example is rarer version configured with setting on right sidte and red bezel locking button on lower left instead of upper left. (Additional scans on request)
